South Rim Spectacle
The South Rim of Grand Canyon at Lipan Point features wintering elements. The small ribbon of blue in the upper right quadrant of the image is the Colorado River in its winter tone. Winter flow is more likely blue and summer is often brown. Why? Because summer flows carry monsoonal runoffs which literally dirty the water.
